The Hierarchy
Recruit
The name really explains itself, these are the newest members of the Order. The difference being, this is more of a trial phase with the potential to either join the membership or to be removed from the clan. It doesn't take much to be promoted to membership, but a recruit will be removed if they do not mesh well with the other members of the Order.
Member
The membership is the core of the clan and where most members reside. All members have a right to vote, including their own boards to discuss things away from the recruit's ears.
Inactive
This member group signifies those whose activity falls below what is expected of clan members. The inactive still have access to the member only boards, however they will no longer be able to vote. If a member is marked as inactive for too long, they will be removed from the Order.
The Obsidian Wolves
The Wolves are the competitive aspect of the clan, which participate in GameBattles and other such events. They are not considered a separate member group, so any other member can be part of the Wolves. The only requirement is that you have the TOO prefix as part of your gamertag when participating in official matches. This can be a separate gamertag or a part of your normal one.
Veteran
The Veterans are those who have shown unfaltering devotion and made immense contributions to the clan, but who no longer can or want to meet the requirements to be considered as active. These members cannot be kicked for inactivity and joining these ranks require approval from the current leadership. Veterans do not have a traditional vote in most clan matters. The Veteran's opinions are still greatly appreciated as most are the previous leaders of the clan, and their voice will be taken into consideration if they wish to join the poll's discussion. This means that a veteran's opinion can overturn a majority vote considering the subject of the poll and the difference in the votes.
Captain
Captains are the members who lead our supported titles. They will be responsible for organizing the gamenight, making decisions related directly to gamenight, and solving any minor disputes that might arise on the title. They do not posses authoritative power over the title however, and if you believe they are directing against the clan's interests overall then please bring this up with someone.
Council
The Council is the leadership of the clan that will be the deciders on critical issues concerning the clan. It is their responsibility that the clan continues to function as it should. They elected by popular vote by the membership.
Overseer
The Overseer is the leader of the clan and acts almost identical to the rest of the Council, though with a little more responsibility and authority. This does not mean absolute power so if you have any complaints then please come forth and discuss it either with the current Overseer or one of the other Council members. The person who holds this title will also be subject to membership approval.
