I've always pronounce Pomale as POH-MALEIGH, rhyming it with Tamale!

Really? There are people who don't know how to pronounce "seraphim"? Many, unfortunately. I seriously don't know what they are teaching in English classes in grade school anymore.

I've always pronounce Pomale as POH-MALEIGH, rhyming it with Tamale! Funny thing about that is "Pomale", pronounced the way you do, is an actual Hispanic surname. I know this because while perusing old files at a mortuary I did some temp work at, a Mexican family by the name Pomale had purchased a family plot sometime in the 1980's. Really? There are people who don't know how to pronounce "seraphim"? Many, unfortunately. I seriously don't know what they are teaching in English classes in grade school anymore. No kidding. For real though, how else could anybody possibly pronounce "seraphim"?

No kidding. For real though, how else could anybody possibly pronounce "seraphim"? I've heard sef-rim, sep-him, sarap-him, surf-im, among many others.
